47 Years of Harley-Davidson Sportster - Gallery Picture

The bike is a 1973 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCH. In '98-'99, I tore the bike down to the fasteners, threw most of them away, and rebuilt her. The frame, motor, gas tank and front end are original. I have made some changes on most other parts, as well as paint and powder-coat. Motor is a stock stroke 1000cc Ironhead, bored .030 over, with some head work, stock P cams, and a 38mm Mikuni carb. Trans was completely rebuilt. Points ignition with Accel coil & wires. Avon rubber - 19" front, 16" rear. -- Al in Sioux Falls, SD
