Motorcycle Seat Heights

How high does your motorcycle seat height place you in the saddle?

Beginning motorcycle riders are often concerned with the motorcycle seat height of the motorcycle they want to buy. They want to be able to sit on the motorcycle seat and get their feet flat on the ground. Although a bike can be ridden without the rider having to flat-foot it, most newbie riders like to maintain full balance control to keep the bike upright when stopped. In other words, the motorcycle seat height is an important consideration.

Each motorcycle manufacturer lists the motorcycle seat height for each of their models in their specifications, however, it would be better if all this seat height information could be listed on a single page across all makes and models. That's what the Motorcycle Views site has done beginning with 2006 models.

The following is a listing of motorcycle seat heights from the lowest seat height to the highest seat height. Each motorcycle seat height is given in inches. Associated with each motorcycle seat height is the year, make, and model of the associated motorcycle.

These motorcycle seat height data should be beneficial to new riders as well as other more experienced riders who are looking for machines that will fit them and make them safer on their motorcycles.
