2006 BuRP Motorcycle Rally Blog - Day 4 This year I'm publishing highlights of the 2006 BuRP rally, day by day in a blog. BuRP was scheduled for July 10-15 this year. The blog will also include my preparations for getting ready to take the ride to Maggie Valley, NC from the Wing Ding rally at Nashville, TN and my observations while there. Arriving today were: Steve (SteelHorseRider); Bill T and Judi; Frank Vanek; and Sammye (G2W). Most the the guys went out for a ride today. Most of the gals also went out for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our supper run to the Maggie Valley Restaurant just about swamped them.
Jane was back riding her own trike today and even went on the ride with the gals. I finished my modification to the User Reviews feature and now people can submit a picture to go along with their review. Tomorrow will be a run to Hot Springs, NC through some of the prettiest roads ever, I'm told. Also, there will be a Deal's Gap run. More people are expected to arrive as well, so our porch will be filling up even more. Photos © 2006 Walter Kern
