Motorcycle Clubs

Motorcycle clubs (also known as MCs or M/Cs) have been around since the introduction of the motorcycle. If you visit any motorcycle museum, look for the old pictures of motorcycle clubs hanging on the walls. Here are links to articles, features, and actual motorcycle clubs that have websites.

Hell's Angel -- a Review
There have been many books and movies about the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC) but no inside definitive source of information about this well known but mysterious club has surfaced until now with the release of Sonny Barger's book.

119th Motorcycle Company
This Flemington, NJ club invites all riders and all bikes. They take their name from an old Army National Guard unit but they have no military affiliation.

American Legion Riders
This is billed as not a motorcycle club but rather a group of American Legion members who ride to have fun and support charities.

Antique Motorcycle Club of America
This is the national organization with 37 chapters that conducts meets and road rides. Your motorcycle must be at least 35 years old.

Arawyns MC
The members of this Bogalusa, LA USA club are proud of their southern heritage and have an everlasting passion to ride motorcycles and band together as brothers. This club was formed in January 2002.

Bikers Against Child Abuse NH Chapter
This is the New Hampshire Chapter of B.A.C.A. Their mission is the same as all B.A.C.A. chapters, to make as safe an environment for children as possible. They work with local agencies in teams of two to assist children when they feel threatened.

Bikers For Christ, Australia Sydney Chapter

Bikers With a Disability
This UK group looks for ways to allow motorcyclists who have a disability to continue riding motorcycles. They also sponsor legislation to assist disabled riders.

Blue Goose Riders
This Addision, TX USA club is dedicated to the enjoyment of two-wheel motor sports. BGR is a sportbike association, welcoming all genres of riders including cruisers, dirt bikes and collectible enthusiasts.

BMW BMW
The BMW Bikers of Metropolitan Washington are the subject of this site. This is a large BMW club and all their activities, events, and rides are listed.

BMW Motorcycle Owners of America
This Web site contains all the information you need to become a member of BMW MOA or to stay in touch as a member. All chapters and rallies are listed.

Booze Fighters MC San Diego
The BoozeFighters Motorcycle club was established in Los Angeles, California in 1946. Very interesting club history includes the Hollister incident.

British Biker Cooperative
To become a BBC member, you must own a British motorcycle, represent the BBC in a respectable manner, and pay the annual dues of $25.00. The organization is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI USA.

British Iron Association - MA Chapter
This MA USA based club is passionate about the idea of British motorcycling. They attend rallies and rides on their Brit bikes that include Triumph, BSA, Norton, Panther, AJS, Ariel, Vincent, DOT, Greeves, and Matchless.

Brothers of the Wind MC
This club is based out of Wilmington, NC USA with nomad members at various locations throughout the US. The club is about riding and brotherhood. They claim to be a 3%er club, emphasizing Family First, Work Second, and the Club and Riding Third.

Canadian Women MC Riders
This Yahoo Groups club is for all women motorcycle riders regardless of bike orientation, residing in Canada.

Central Freedom Riders
This Plano, TX USA club defines itself as an open club. Contains pictures of club events and monthly Newsletters that may be downloaded.

Cernunnos MCC
This site has links to many other clubs and bike related sites as well as a comprehensive biker calendar (mostly UK rallies but other countries and events too).

Chicago Cruisers
The Chicago Cruisers is an "open" club -- open to all makes and models of motorcycles. They organize camp outs, rallies, charity events and other long and short distance rides. Check out their ride schedule and numerous pictures.

Chopper Club
The Chopper Club is a motorcycle club that has dedicated the last twenty-six years to promoting, protecting and enjoying custom biking across the UK, Europe and Norway. Created in England in 1973 the National Chopper Club has expanded into Chopper Club Nederland, Chopper Club Belgie, Chopper Club Luxembourg,Chopper Club Ireland, Chopper Club Germany, Chopper Club Wales, Chopper Club Scotland and Chopper Club Norway. Colorado Freewheelers M/C
This Englewood, CO USA club is open to people who enjoy riding motorcycles regardless of brand. There are no dues to join the club. Just attend a meeting (sign the register) and you're in.

Concours Owners Group
This is the Web site of the Concours Owners Group (COG). Concours is Kawasaki's sport touring motorcycle.

Dangerous Curves Hawaii
This Hawaii USA based club welcomes all FEMALE sportbike riders that enjoy riding in a safe manner and do not have a "fast and furious" attitude when riding. The site contains pictures of most members on their bikes.

Dawn Patrol
The Dawn Patrol, located in Bradley Gardens, NJ USA, was incorporated in 1937 and has been a member of the American Motorcyclist Association since that time, winning several awards for its work and participation in the A.M.A.

Dayton Motorcycle Club
Founded in 1910, this Dayton, Ohio club welcomes all brands of motorcycles and types of riders.

Desert Road Riders
This Bullhead City, AZ USA club has an attractive red, white, and black Web site. Check out their pictures to see the club members in action. The club was formed in 1993.

Dragons Motorcycle Club Thailand
Dragons Motorcycle Club Thailand is an organization of strong, positive men and women from different walks of life with common interests, similar philosophies and riding styles with a focus on community spirit. Fog Hogs
The Fog Hogs is the Golden Gate Chapter of H.O.G. located in San Francisco, CA USA. Contains a list of officers, events, and an extensive picture gallery.

Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club
This club was founded in 1969 in Red Hill, PA. This is an all-brand club with riders from all walks of life.

Honda Goldwing GL1800 Owners Group
This is a Yahoo Internet club devoted to the Gold Wing 1800. You have to register to become a member and use this site. The club has over 2600 members.

International Brotherhood of Motorcycle Campers
All about camping by motorcycle. Contains scheduled events, pictures, and rules. The IBMC seems to have fun. Check out Roughing It.

Jersey Riders MC
This is an informative Web site by a NJ club dedicated to the Honda Valkyrie and all other Cruiser and Touring class motorcycles. Has lots of pictures of events and great member-submitted stories. Be sure to read the Crotona Run Ride Report. Has a useful bulletin board.

Kalamazoo H.O.G.S. On-line
Kalamazoo, MI USA H.O.G. club containing officer page, events, pictures, links and merchandise. Pictures slow slowly.

Los de Xibalba MC
This motorcycle club, located in Costa Rica, organizes and participates in national and international (Central America) rides and events.

Madison Motorcycle Club
This Madison, WI USA club was formed in the 1920s and is the oldest continuously operating AMA club in the USA. Some information on the site needs updating.

Magna Motorcycles Club
This is a Yahoo motorcycle club focused on the Honda Magna. You have to be a member of the club to access certain features. Click Join this Club.

Manomet Mystery Riders
This club, located in the Manomet section of Plymouth, MA USA, invites all riders and bikes for mystery rides several times a week.

Maricopa Motorcycle Riders Group
This group is located in AZ, USA. The link takes you to a group on Facebook so you'll have to be a member of Facebook to view this.

Mortal Skulls Motorcycle Club
The Mortal Skulls Motorcycle Club is based out of Bohemia on Long Island, N.Y. MSMC is a Motorcycle Club made up of individuals who share a passion for riding and a strong Brotherhood with each other. Mortal Skulls MC maintains a well disciplined club structure and function. This club is not for the weekend motorcyclist and prospecting is mandatory! All members participate on an equal level in all aspects of club duties. NAHA Pro Hillclimbers
The North American Hill Climbing Assoc.(N.A.H.A.) is primarily made up of professional and amateur riders from the Western U.S. and Canada. This site gives the schedule of events and results. I hate music that doesn't shut off.

Nationwide Christian Motorcycle Club
The Chariots Of Light Christian Biker Club is an evangelistic outreach of Jerry Savelle Ministries International, located in Crowley, Texas, USA.

Night Hawgs
The Night Hawgs are Louisville, KY USA based bikers who are friends that like to ride, party and have fun. They are not a formal motorcycle club. Contains user submissions, local events and other biker information.

NJ Shore BMW Riders
BMW chartered club in NJ. Contains pictures of various club rallies.

Phoenix Sportbike Club
This is the Web site of the biggest sportbike club in Phoenix, AZ USA. Pictures, events, and a private member forum are provided. Anyone and everyone is welcome.

Pride MC
This motorcycle club consists of correctional employees in Pennsylvania. They are based in Wyoming, PA USA.

Ramapo Motorcycle Club
This New York club was founded in 1938. Be sure to checkout the Crotona Midnight Run which they are now sponsoring. This run is over 80 years old.

Rollin' Plains Motorcycle Club
This Lincoln, Nebraska club has an active schedule of events both on-road and off-road.

Rolling Thunder® NJ2
Rolling Thunder®, Inc.'s major function is to publicize the POW-MIA issue. They organize and participate in many motorcycle rallies to get their message out to the public.

Rose City Motorcycle Club
This is an old Portland, Oregon club formed in 1911. Its 170 members ride a variety of bikes.

Sacramento Road Cruisers MC
The SRC, located in Sacramento, CA USA, is a group of motorcycle enthusiasts with the common interest of riding motorcycles and enjoying the beauty of Northern California. It welcomes riders of any brand of motorcycle. The club invites men and women of all ages and riding skills.

San Jose Dons MC
This San Jose, CA USA club founded in 1932 is AMA chartered. Nice graphics and club pictures. Club seems to be all-brand. Gives events and calendar. Has annoying popups.

Seattle Motorcycle Club
This club seems to be involved in motocross racing. The Web site is a little disorganized. They do tell you what you have to do to become a member.

Singles Motorcycle Club
The Singles Motorcycle Club was formed to help men with motorcycles meet women who want to be co-pilots (or ride their own bikes). The club is based in the San Francisco, CA USA area.

South Coast BMW Riders
The South Coast BMW Riders Club is an organization of BMW motorcycle owners with a common interest in promoting safe riding, fellowship and motorcycle education. The club is based in Santa Ana, CA USA.

Storm-Riders
The Storm Riders Motorcycling Club (SRMC) is the first local biking community Club that was officially approved for registration by the Registrar Of Societies Singapore. This site lists just about everything you might want to know about this all-brand club.

Sundowners SFC
The Sundowners Motorcycle Club of San Fernando Valley was formed in the early 1960s by a group of motorcycle riders that found a common bond of brotherhood in the freedom of the road. In 1971 they acquired a clubhouse located in San Fernando.

Suzuki Owners' Club (SOC) USA
Web site contains events, officers, information on state chapters, news, dealers, and an online application.

Top Hatters MC
This is a Hollister, CA club founded in 1947. They are H-D only and consider themselves a brotherhood of serious riders, not weekend yuppies. Their requirements for membership are rigorous.

Town & Country MC
This is an AMA chartered club from Wanaque, New Jersey. They ride all brands of motorcycles. Site contains pictures, sound clips, and video clips from their runs.

Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club
Valkyrie riders club Web site. Contains list of members many having pictures of themselves and their bikes. Contains list of clubs, chat, and tech talk.

Wandering Walgett Wildcats
This is a motorcycle touring club based in the Central West of the state of New South Wales at Walgett in Australia.

Warthogs - Hudson Valley, NY Chapter
The Hudson Valley, NY chapter of a national organization of public safety officers riding American motorcycles.

Widows Sons
The Widows Sons is an independent group of Internationally based Mastermasons who ride motorcycles and have organized to aid and assist the Widows of Mastermasons to promote Freemasonry in the world of motorcycling, to promote motorcycling in the World of Freemasonry, and to support the charities of the Widows Sons International Motorcycle Club.

Wind & Fire Southern Chapter
You must be a current or retired firefighter and own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle to join this group. This is the Southern chapter of the club founded in CA.

Women in the Wind - San Diego Chapter
This club, based in San Diego, CA USA, is one of 50 chapters across the USA.

Women Who Ride Motorcycles
This is a YAHOO Internet Club for women motorcyclists. They have a message board, chat room, pictures, and events but not everything is accessible if you're not a member.

Yankee Beemers Motorcycle Club
The Yankee Beemers are a group of 400 members who are riders, owners, and restorers of BMW motorcycles in the New England area. The club was formed in 1984 and has members from MA, ME, VT, NH, RI, CT, NY and PA.
