Defect Summary:
Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2016-2017 Multistrada 1200 Enduro motorcycles.
The motorcycle's rear shock absorber lower shock-end eyelet may crack and possibly detach from the swingarm.
Consequence Summary:
If the rear shock absorber detaches from the swingarm, the motorcycle's handling would be affected, increasing
the risk of a crash.
Corrective Summary:
Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear shock absorber assembly, free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin May 22, 2017.
